It is surprising and revolting that on American campuses there have been practically no voices decrying the outlandish claims of the protesters. The only voices of reason come from outside the campus hothouses. (A good example here.) These Emperor-is-fully-clothed claims would require us to believe that American universities and colleges, – which have instituted racial preferences in admissions, scholarships, and faculty hires, special buildings for black students, programs in black studies, endless diversity programs including mandatory “training,” deans in new positions devoted to diversity and equity, speech codes to protect minorities from hurt feelings – that these universities are hotbeds of racism and racial injustice driven by a climate of racial oppression, the consequence of ubiquitous white privilege and the sin of “whiteness.” Nor have there been many voices on campus remarking that the other demands of the protesters usually come right out of the playbook of their radical professors. Few dare point out that the protesters, having been indoctrinated throughout their schooling, are being manipulated by these radicals, their student leaders, and interested outsiders. The head of student government at Mizzou, Payton Head, who falsely stated that the KKK was active of the Mizzou Campus, is linked to Barack Hussein Obama and may have worked for former Obama aide and current Chicago mayor Rahm Emanuel. Despite being black and gay, he somehow got elected student government president and homecoming king. Quite a feat given how racist and homophobic the Mizzou campus is!
Hunger striker Jonathan Butler, scion of a wealthy family from Omaha, NE, after ending his hunger strike, celebrates with his comrades, including a Black Lives Matter activist, by liberal use of the “n-word” and wearing a shirt proclaiming that domestic terrorist and convicted cop killer, Assata Shakur, is his teacher. Note the Communist clenched-fist salute being given by him and his friends. It also appears the claim that Butler was hit by Wolfe’s car during the homecoming parade was a fabrication.
Here is information about Butler’s role model Assata Shakur (born JoAnne Deborah Byron).
It would seem that the black radicals (many if not most of the radicals here are white) don’t really want anything to do with their white allies. Here they are calling for a “Black Only Healing Space.”
As I said in my earlier post on this matter, this is the real deal, folks. We may have laughed at the hippies and yippies of the 60s and 70s, knowing that they had no real power; but these people do. They proved it nationally by electing Barack Hussein Obama President twice and by forcing out the weak, liberal president of the University of Missouri. Unless common-sense people wake up and wise up, the country is going to become unrecognizable in a very short time. I say again, if you didn’t listen to me back in the day, listen to me now!
Summary. Recent events at the University of Missouri (MU) threaten to harm it for years to come. The loss in one day of the President of the Four-Campus System and the MU Chancellor by forced resignation was bad enough –who of any competence would want those jobs? But the remedies proposed by the black student protesters would further bring the University down the path of political correctness gone amuck, with accelerated erosion of the academic values of truth, open debate, and honest respect. There is no racism on the MU campus. Many students, taught by faculty radicals, believe it is everywhere, sustained by an ether-like substrate of white privilege. Their claims largely result from indoctrination and hurt feelings, not the real racism faced by their grandparents and earlier generations. It is simply astonishing that baseless protests could so quickly bring down the administration and hurl the campus into chaos. This could only happen if MU’s core were not weakened and corrupt. MU is on the path to becoming a transuniversity, a radical political organization believing it is really a university. The protesters are well aware of their power and have issued further demands concerning sexism, homophobia, transism etc., echoing the litany of progressive grievances. The two resignations demonstrate once again that successful revolutions will hunt down their insufficiently radical members. One wag commented that MU has gone from Animal House to Animal Farm.
This is sad, very sad.

In National Review online distinguished attorney Ed Whelan comments on the legal issues underlying this disturbing situation, pointing out that the Obama administration cites its own regulations as the legal basis for its crusade on behalf of gender-identity equality. Washington, D.C.has a well entrenched governing philosophy, now called the ‘administrative state.’ Congress unconstitutionally delegates to regulatory agencies the power to create new rules, ferret out offenders, and adjudicate and assess penalties. In other words, the separation of powers – the basis of our constitutional system – has been abrogated. The danger this represents can hardly be exaggerated. It is well worth quoting below three paragraphs from Whelan’s short article.
The bathroom wars—or, more expansively, the bathroom, locker room, and shower wars—might have an even bigger impact in next year’s elections, including in the presidential race. For all across the country the Obama administration is aggressively imposing its claim that existing laws prohibiting sex discrimination require that public school districts, as a condition of federal funding, allow boys who think they’re girls to use the public-school bathrooms, locker rooms and showers designated for girls. As a brief (see pp. 22-25) that the Obama administration filed last week in federal court makes clear, that claim rests critically on the Department of Education’s interpretation of its own regulations— regulations that the Department of Education, under the direction of a new president, would be free to revise or re-interpret.
Similarly, by a 3-2 vote—with, surprise, the three members in the majority all being Obama appointees—the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission ruled in April that an employer engages in discrimination on the basis of sex when it bars a man who thinks he’s a woman from using female restroom facilities. Further, the EEOC majority went out of its way in a footnote to make clear its view that the employer unlawfully deprived the man of the “use of common locker and shower facilities that non-transgender employees could use.” In other words, according to the EEOC majority, it’s unlawful sex discrimination for an employer to bar a man who thinks he’s a woman from sharing locker and shower facilities with women.
It’s worth emphasizing that the Obama administration’s transgender ideology won’t accept any sort of accommodations that fall short of providing self-identified transgender individuals with full and equal access to the opposing sex’s facilities. In the case in which the Obama administration filed the brief last week, for example, the public high school had initially made an existing separate restroom available to the student and then had installed three unisex single-stall restrooms that he (and others) could use. And in the EEOC case the employee had been allowed to use a single-user “executive” restroom.
Updated 4th November here.
The madness of creating ‘rights’ to satisfy the whims and claims of privilege of every self-proclaimed aggrieved minority group or psychologically disordered individual has led, per the New York Times, to an attack on sex-specific showers in our high schools.
Thus a high-school boy claiming transgender status has been accorded the pronoun ‘she’ and the right to play on the girls athletic teams. The suburban Chicago school district, mindful of Federal might, has given him a separate section in the locker room in which to shower. The Feds, however, find this discriminatory because he does not have the choice to shower naked with the girls. Clearly government bureaucracy crushes any sense of humor as this position – the dream of every high-school boy – does not pass any normal kind of test, smell or otherwise. In the Alice-in-Wonderland upside-down world of government, where the common-sense meaning of words is changed at will and we are expected to follow, most of us have no rights, except the right to surrender to the latest outrageous demand of radicals encouraged by their recent legal victories over traditional values and our American sense of decency. The diseased tail will continue to wag the still healthy dog until our governments at all levels are thoroughly disinfected and reformed.
